I am going to write each one of my girls a personal letter of why I chose them!

SanD- that’s a cute idea!

My Boyfriend or Best Friend was recently asked to be a groomsman…  the groom took all of the guys out to dinner and had requested special menus be printed.  So when they opened them up it read – Will you be my groomsman?

Side note, how funny would it be if those menus went to the wrong table?  hehe.

Ohh, I am trying to come up with ideas too. I am thinking I want baloons involved lol because I love balloons and maybe a Japanese steakhouse because all of my friends LOVE going there plus I think the chef would have fun being in on it, those guys are always so silly.

I just sent very cute cards I got on Stinkerpants Designs, but my sister in law asked me a long time ago with the cutest gifts — it was a giant fortune cookie with a big fortune inside that read “it would be my good fortune to have you as a bridesmaid” — the cookie was yum and it was so cute! I looked for them, but didn’t have much luck.

I didn’t see two of them because of long distance but the ones I saw I wrote cards to and gave them flowers (roses – even my niece the flower girl!).  The long distance ones got a phone call.  I hope they understand…  Smile

i’ve seen these chocolate wedding dresses that have a little card attached that say “will you be my bridesmaid?”. i’m going to bake my cousin a b-day cake this week and write on the top “will you be my maid of honor?”, or order it from the store.

I took them for coffee one by one =)

After they all said yes, I organized a lunch so they’d meet (if they hadn’t yet) and discuss wedding stuff!

I made each girl a “cake-in-a-jar” with a card — something a little different and food-focused was my aim.  They loved them, and the cakes tasted delish!

I made each lady a card with their name and some pretty stickers on the outside. Inside the card, in calligraphy, I wrote a poem:

A friend as dear as you could never be called a “maid”

(Name), will you please do me the honor

and stand with me on my wedding day as a bride’s babe?

Then I wrote a personal note to each lady and bought feather boas in my wedding colors and attached a note “for use at the bachelorette party and reception”. I sent them in the mail and it was so fun to get their responses!

Personally I just asked my ladies to be my BM’s but my friend made little cards that said “Will you be my bridesmaid?” on them.

Not too crafty but hopefully some of the other ladies on here helped you find a better idea!!! There’s a lot of cute ways to do it.

@Miss Politico:  I love the bride’s babe. I hate that Bridesmaid or Best Man always gets shortened to maid.
