I live in Canada and my BM’s in Jamaica so when i get there this summer i will take them to dinner one by one and give then a cute gift asking if they would like to be my Bridesmaid or Best Man. I already know they will say yes because one is my cousin, my best childhood friend and my Fiance niece

I sent the bridesmaids all a dozen red roses with a card that read “I’ve got my man, now I need my girls. Will you be my bridesmaid?”. My Maid/Matron of Honor got a dozen white roses with the same card (sub Maid/Matron of Honor for BM). They all felt very special because most were surprised at work

With words? Hehe. I won’t be doing anything other than asking them in person or over the phone.

I’m trying really hard to track down bottles of the ice wine FH and I bought in Canada. I want some for us, and I’ll grab a couple extra, and stick these on when the time comes

@Gator: I took my Maid/Matron of Honor out for drinks and then a week later I took my Bridesmaid or Best Man out for dinner

I invited them all the luncheon and walked in with a empty wedding planning binder. Took it out while we were waiting for our food and said ” It sure is to bad that I don’t have any bridesmaids to fill this up with ideas” they all looked at me and I said “If I did have bridesmaids though I would probably ask them to do a luncheon with me to discuss planning”. They all got the hint and started freaking out and hugging me. Told them I couldn’t imagaine the day without them. It was simple and surprising and led to a lot of laughter and a couple of watery eyes.
