ladylawyer:  To break in my shoes, I usually will wear the thickest socks I can inside my shoes….then use a hairdryer to apply some heat to the areas that are usually most prone to blistering. This causes the leathers in your shoes to soften and conform to your feet. Walk aroudnd your home with them on wearing the thicker socks for a few weeks until you feel super comfortable without the socks on.

Though it sounds silly, I’ve been doing this for mine and it’s working really well.

Wore them around the house with pop socks every couple of evenings. They stayed on almost all night dancing on the dat and I wish I’d left them on!

I knew we woulkd be getting pics taken on slippery rocks so I wore mine outside once or twice to scuff the bottoms of them some. I didn’t fall so it must’ve worked. 🙂

I just wore mine around the house with thick socks. Keep in mind that natural materials (Leather, natural fabrics) will break in a lot easier than synthetics.
