@DiamondnLovey:  I think you’ll save a bit of money doing it yourself than using a florist – good luck and I hope it all turns out the way you want it!

I just told my vision and my price to different florists to see what they would come up with (1920’s theme) and I think they came out great! It was cheaper too because I told her the price I wasn’t comfortable going over.

I would like to have my flowers go under 400 at the most.

If you don’t mind artificial flowers you can try AliExpress. It’s from Chinae, I got mine there. Was less than 30USD

I started with main colour (ivory) and style (handtied/informal/rustic) then started searching sites like Etsy (i would have loved to be able to save money by making my own but i’m hopeless at anything creative)…this is my current fave inspiration pic…

I told my florist what I was going for as far as visually. I told her I wanted rustic fall and I wanted it to seem like I went out into a field and picked flowers and fillers. I wanted both fresh flowers and dried “grasses”. We looked at pictures online to get ideas but ultimately we looked through a book she had to pick flowers in the colors and theme I was going for. It was like she could read my mind. The only thing I told her I had to have were dahlias because they are my favorite flower. I also told her I wanted non-wedding flowers, or basically flowers that aren’t popular wedding flowers.

This was my inspiration photo but the flowers will be completely different.

You should meet with a few florists & just get some quotes. You would be surprised at what they can do on a budget.
