Mine say’s it all just a girl first now I am married and a women haha… I use justagirl as my username for everything, been using it for years on everysite that ask for a username. This way I never forget what my username is.
I got the name from the Song “I’m just a girl” by No Doubt. I have lived a very rough life as a child, got kicked out of my childhood home at the age of 16. My sister was kicked out at 14. I surrived living on my own since the age of 16 till I met my husband at the age of 26. He has brought me onto a new world, and has help me achieve a life that I am now proud of. Kind of a Cinderalla story I guess.
My name is boring- my last name starts with an H and I’m marrying a man whose last name also starts with an H. I’ll never have different initials… sigh. I guess there are worse problems I could have π
I love the Scott Pilgrim series so I went with the name of the main female character. I was tempted to go with the name I use on instagram/twitter/Xbox etc but didn’t want to be easily googled in case I ended up bitching about real life people on here!
Short story: I’m brand new and not very creative.
Long story: My boyfriend created a ring comparison spreadsheet (he loves trade studies) for me to fill out and I named it Jackson_ring choices, because that’s just how I label documents! Mike, my boyfriend, saw it later and chuckled at my formal label. He joked, “you should’ve labeled it Wilsonintended_ring choices.” I liked that so I used it here.
I like puns
Unimaginatively! It’s my brother’s pet name for me. When I was tiny I couldn’t pronounce my own name and it came out as “Zizzy” which was promptly adopted by the family. However my elder brother, who didn’t think much to this upstart amended it to Drizzle – the depressing, persistent light rain so typical of England. I love the word drizzle and always teach it to my foreign learners when teaching weather.
There was a comedy Saturday morning TV program in the UK a few years ago called Soccer AM, it had a regular segment enticingly billed as “Topless Weather” which as promised was delivered topless by an overweight bloke with a dead-pan delivery. The weather for the North (where I’m from) was always, always “light drizzle”.
I’m a geek! I play videogames EXCESSIVELY and love computers (taking them apart, not so much putting them back together) and electronics of any kind.
I love all of these! Feel like I know a little bit about everyone who’s shared π
