EMG…my initials. We realized in the middle of creating our monogram that my initials weren’t changing…my maiden name started with a G and so does my married name.

My screenname (and my avatar pic) is the name of my favorite character from my favorite animated show. Even though she’s one of the main villains (and I’m not!), she’s an awesome character, and it was the first thing that popped into my mind when I was thinking of a screenname for here ๐Ÿ™‚

Mine for how I was feeling about our engagement and getting married. I also wanted something that didn’t have a lot of numbers, so it would be easier for people to deal with. The artichokes in the icon are because Fiance, for some reason unbeknownst to me, loves pictures of artichokes.

Lovesthebear– I’ve called the mister “Bear” since day one.  Not teddy bear but more iike Bear Grylls.  He loves that show, he’s been to ranger school, and he’s currently in the special forces.  So it’s pretty fitting.  And, I love him.  Hence, Lovesthebear.

You know, I was contemplating changing my username.  I didn’t give it much thought when I signed up, but I didn’t know I would love Weddingbee so much.  Is there a way to do that and still keep the post tally.  Wait, DG–you changed yours, yes?  So there <span style=”font-style: italic;”>must be a way…

It’s my grandmother’s name. On another website I chose this name and refer to myself as my grandmother’s name and DH as my grandfather. I added -me because that was the first variation I found available.

I’m very unoriginal–my nickname and 5/16, our wedding date.

@Loves- mine was a special case because my profession was getting confused in my role here.  I had to be extra careful in posting to any health threads and in giving any wellness advice, so a name change was in order!  I don’t think it’s a feature that’s offered because it’s really labor intensive to make all parts of the site work.

Mr. Penguin chose the Penguin icon! I wanted to be Peacock, but went with Mr. Peng’s suggestion. Now I can’t imagine being anyone but Pengy!

ggsb – is the initials for the “pet names” the mister and I gave each other long before we actually met.  Since we met online and chatted for months before actually meeting we each seemed to refer to the other with an ailas when speaking to friends.  Later our friends told on us ๐Ÿ™‚  Hum….Can I change it to Mrs. GGSB now?

Weddingbee was the first time in five years I switched from being my go to screenname “colerz4” mine’s my nickname and last initial, but immediately after I made it I wished I had been creative enough to realize I could be a “Bee” instead of just “B”

Cool story, ggsb! You’ll always have something to tell your children. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Mine’s not very interesting… k is my first initial, and renee is my middle name. Close friends have called me “k-rae” for years.

Now that I think of it, Wine-Oh does have sort of a negative connotation.

However, We we do love the Vino and we getting married in Napa~
