Pinterest boards. Looking at my (pathetic) bank account. Writing goals I want to reach. Relishing the fact that we can just up and leave whenever.

Some of the same suggestions already mentioned.

Ive also been finding ways to distract myself: ie. Knew I had to switch jobs before TTC (which I’ve been at my new job for 3 weeks now!), finding some new hobbies to distract myself with (have taken up quilting, hoola hooping which is amazing exercise, bingewatching some tv that I’ve missed out on, and catching up on some reading) and lastly, paying off some of our loans (paid off one about 2 months ago and are trying to pay off another 1 or 2 before TTC in late 2016/2017) as well as saving up some money for the baby/maternity leave. Also trying to get myself in better shape for TTC as well. It helps to find ways to distract myself and pass the time. I’ve also spent some time now researching good strollers, car seats, etc to educate myself on some of that stuff prior to needing it so that I don’t buy things when I’m hugely swayed by pregnancy hormones! Haha

Im also enjoying my sleep as much as possible. Another thing that helps is get a dog…we just got our 2nd who is very much a puppy and seriously, it’s helped the baby fever a lot! Haha

All my friends are having babies right now, ALL of them!! My ovaries explode everytime I see one.

We got a dog, it helps SO much! He takes up so much of my time and I get the same unconditional love from him. He really brightens up my day.

Wow I am so glad I’m not the only one who has been feeling the pre-wedding baby fever… LOL!

We are getting married June 2017 and I love looking at all the wedding stuff right now. It often distracts me. That and work or school, but my baby fever has secretly been increasing.

I remind myself I want to get my bachelor’s degree first so I have a more stable income (which I’ll get at 27 and I’m 24 right now). However, it makes it worse because I wish I could TTC after getting married at 25. πŸ™ I’ve always wanted to be a mommy and I think Mother’s Day made it worse LOL!

Clove86:  I can understand that!!! I don’t think there’s anything wrong with wanting a family. Some people have the desire young, others feel it grow over time, some have it as they get older, and others never want kids. To each his own!

My sister was married at 23 and had my nephew at 25 and she’s turning 29 in September. She always wanted a big family but she can’t conceive easily… It’s very sad because I know it’s hard for her

Clove86:  That’s a good idea. You never know and I have a couple friends who seem to have a really hard time with it. It kind of makes you think when you know so many people with fertility problems!

Yeah she has PCOS and he has difficulty as well but they managed my nephew with fertility drugs. πŸ™‚ She wanted 6 kids and so I try to keep her spirits up on things like birthdays

Clove86:  Well good for them! πŸ™‚

And good for you guys! I hope you have an easy time of it~

I personally am waiting impatiently LoL I know I’m young but I have always wanted a family. I guess I’m a lot like my sister (but 2 maybe 3 kids is enough for me πŸ˜‰ )

Clove86:  My best friend is about to graduate with her masters as well… She’s 23 turning 24 later this year. She and her husband want to try when she’s 25. She’s always been a role model to me (although she did get married way younger than I would’ve wanted to).

I moved a lot from California and Idaho and then South Dakota and blah blah blah. I’ve moved several times in the last couple years and am far from family. Maybe that’s why I want to start my own on some level. Plus I have a very small family. That aside, I didn’t really start my college life when I should have because of all the traveling… but if I didn’t travel I never would’ve met my fiance! πŸ™‚
