I made an appointment at a local hair salon to do a trial, and I’m paying the “bridesmaid” price for it.  I sure hope it goes well because I’ve never had my hair done up at this place (only cut).  If it doesn’t work out, i’ll have a month to find a new place and do another trial.  *sigh*

Is there something you don’t like about your normal stylist? I think someone who knows your hair would be ideal- I used my regular stylist and my ceremony venue had a spa so i used their MUA but only because they had some really good reviews!

I got married in another city, so I relied on online reviews.  I find yelp.com to be pretty reliable.

I am bringing my stylist with me!  It helps that she’s engaged to the best man, ha!

I did a ton of research online, and then hoped for the best! I made sure to schedule my hair trial far enough in advance that I could figure something else out if it turned out to be terrible.
