If you had an underlying theme to your wedding, how did you select it and stick with it?? I am so into the idea of having a somewhat obvious theme but I can’t make up my mind about what I want! I have way too many ideas and combining them all would just be silly.
How did you pick yours?

Mine’s a spring-y daisy and butterflies theme, not really specific like a monogram or anything. It just sort of made sense. I decided to have each girl wear a different color, because I had a customer who was doing that once and fell in love with the idea. I’ve always been a daisy fan, so it was perfect, and they come in so many beautiful colors it worked well with having a bright wedding. And then I saw the butterfly cake on the front of the latest Martha Stewart Weddings magazine and fell in love with that, so it all came together nicely. I’m getting extras of the butterflies (they’re made out of paper and/or feathers, you can get them at Michaels or off of floraltrims.com) to put in random places, like perched on my card box. And I got a bunch of really neat daisy stamps at Hobby Lobby that I’m using on the programs, favors, etc. And our favors will be wildflower seeds, so it all comes together pretty well.
But basically to answer your question, the theme just sort of happened, I never really had a moment where I picked it. And it was easy to stick with because it was such a general theme that I didn’t have to worry about overusing on specific image or anything. Good luck!
