We were 18 when we got together, so we count it as the day DH asked me to be his girlfriend. lol

We count the first time we met. We were long distance for our dating period untili he moved down during our engagement. My friend “set us up” and I think we were both a little resistant having just come out of other relationships 4-5 months prior. So we started talking on July 20 and it was all history from there. We couldn’t get enough of each other. So technically we didn’t have our first date until August 2, but July 20 is coming up and I think we’re going to celebrate that.

I voted “when we had the exclusivity talk.” Aka the day we decided it was a relationship (and changed Facebook statuses accordingly, haha).

We count our first date. Neither of us had plans on Valentine’s Day and decided to go out. We chose that same day to get married despite the cheesy cliches because it really is our day! 🙂

We count from the first time we met. After a month of dating, Fiance said “I’ve know you a month now” and that’s how we got our anniversary.

First time we met.  We were in college so we didn’t go on an “official date” for about 3 months b/c we were both broke. lol.  we also don’t really remember the exact day we decided to start officially dating.  We think it was April 8 but it was less than two weeks after we met so we figured it didn’t really matter which date we went with.

Our first date. Because after that night we were exclusive, official, we both kind of knew “this is it” and got married pretty soon after.

I count the day we had the talk and made it known that we were a couple. We use that as our official date. However, we have an unofficial anniversary date before that, when we were kind of dating, as the day we knew things were getting serious.

We counted it as our second Date,  since techically our first date was on his birthday and he mentioned that he might would like to take me out to dinner .

We chose ours based on our first kiss.  We couldn’t use our first date becaue I very clearly said I didn’t want anything serious and, even though I wasn’t seeing anyone else at the time, there was no agreement that neither of us weren’t allowed to see other people.

By the time we had our first kiss a few weeks later, we were basically exclusive, despite not having had the official talk.  We both just knew we were exclusive so there you go.

We used the day on when he ask me to be his girlfriend, which was 1 week after we started hanging out together.  Dec. 19th 2010.

We picked our first date because it was just too unconventional-yet-cute. I like thinking about that day on our anniversary instead of just a conversation that happened.
