@HourThyme:  10 days out and I was nervous, excited, Fiance swears I was stressed. I didn’t feel it but my face broke out…so I guess I was stressed. I was thinking about all the little things left to do.

But just remember, enjoy every moment, because the day will be here and over in a flash. EAT! DANCE! and if you drink, DRINK! Don’t worry about anything. The day of the wedding, get up, shower, get your hair and make up done, and enjoy it and just take it all in. But whatever you do, make.sure.you.eat. LoL you will need the energy.

My engagement was 22 months but the day came very fast, and I can’t say I didn’t enjoy it, bc I did. And when the bride and groom are having fun, everyone is having fun, everything else is just a bonus. But this day is about you and your SO.

    Just remember to breathe 🙂

10 days out I got the call to come to my Grandfather’s side because it was time. So I did. I handed all of the small items left on my list to my DOC and Mr. LK, told them I had complete confidence in them, and went to be my Grandfather’s 24-7 nurse for his final days while I watched my family crumble around me. All of my well thought out, carefully timed and planned schedules and task lists meant nothing in those days. Then I helped make viewing arrangements in 2 states, travel arrangements for everyone, funeral and burial arrangements, and followed through on everything. It definitely put things into perspective for me. Everything could go to hell in a handbasket and I would still be okay because I had Mr. LK and Teen Lk in my life. They are all that I need.
