I’ve posted a similar thread but I can’t work out how to edit it.
Can you please tell me how you found out which stores stocked the particular maggie sottero dress that you wanted? Did you contact maggie sottero to get a list of what was stocked where? If so how?

go to http://www.maggiesottero.com & look under “store locator”

Thanks, i’ve tried using the store locator but i’m from the UK and it brings up a huuuge list for the whole of the UK. Is there a way I can find out which stores stock which dresses?

You have to pick up the phone and start calling..
I called more than 100 different stores that carry MS, in Jersey.NONE of them carried any of the vintage/lace designs or Maggie samples I wanted to try on. It was all cupcake, crinoline, poof and pick ups…. I expanded my search to NY, VT, New Husband (parents are in VT and so is the wedding) and I found 3 stores that actually carried the samples I wanted to try on in New Husband and VT.

I called a lot of local places (using the store locator on their website) for the “FAVES” I wanted to try!

I agree with the other PPs, call up some of the stores closest to you. If you’re looking for a few particular styles and they don’t carry them, you might find a sweet owner who’s willing to ask the company if there’s anywhere close that the gown has been distributed.

@wedding_2011: Hey! You’re a month twin! I had the same problem and ended having to call like 12 stores. Turned out the two stores that had the dress, I hated so I ended up buying the dress at another store (that didn’t have the sample). So keep that in mind too, if you find the dress at a store like over an hr away, you can always order it at a closer store that carried Maggie! Good luck!
