They see it all day long.  They don’t care.  They are professionals.  I used to be a bridal consultant, and saw boobs all day long.  I never even noticed.

I understand it’s uncomfortable.  I got a spray tan (basically nude), and I just didn’t think about it.  Try to make small talk… it makes the time go by faster and keeps your mind off of what is going on.

@angelalsmith3:  +1

they look at it all day long! it’s just like your gyno, they’re used to seeing it so they aren’t shocked when you strip down to your birthday suit 🙂

I’m going to tell you the same thing my mom told me when I was embarrased during my first gyno appointment. They see that sort of thing all day long and chances are, if they see you in public they won’t know your face…only certain areas. Obviously, this was meant in a joking way, but you get the point.

As pps have mentioned, professionals see people’s privates over and over, day in and day out.  They’re used to it and not going to be phased by yours.  If you’re calm and matter-a-fact they’re not going to really notice.  If you freak out and act squeamish, it’s going to take longer.  Just shower the morning of your appointment, drop your clothes, let them do what’s needed and move on.

I was an airbrush tan technician and I can tell you that I had seen it all and it didn’t matter to me.  I wasn’t checking anything out except the tan.  Most good techs are like obgyns and they will keep you talking so you aren’t so awkward.  But I will say that we required you to wear some form of bottoms, and I had plenty of women who wore a bikini top and took the straps down, or a strapless bra,  etc.

I’ve never airbrushed tan completely nude, I usually wear a small g-string to minimize lines, but keep my vajayjay covered.

When it comes to waxing, just remember they see it all day long. They have likely seen some funky things, so you won’t stand out.

I ended up with a crazy naked massage…she kept pulling the towel back etc…at first I was mortified…then I just said what’s done is done and tried to get in a happy place.

I think desperation helps, are you desperately in need for a tan or wax or in my case a massage!?  🙂
