I had my Maid/Matron of Honor drive with me! We also had a lot of family and friends with cars and a hotel shuttle so everyone was covered in some way

I’m not sure about most people, but my father drove me, my mom, my sis, and my Maid/Matron of Honor in his Toyota Matrix. It wasn’t a limo, but it got the job done! My maids prefered to drive themselves with their husbands. If the maids had wanted to come, we were going to borrow my grandparents mini-van.

My friend had an uncle who owned a Lexus, and he allowed her to borrow so her dad could drive her and the maids to the wedding in style.

I don’t think your idea is lame at all!

We’re maybe 3 minutes away from our venue . . . we’re having a mini-van caravan there.  Woo hoo!

We live just over the hill from the church/15 minutes from the reception, which is super convenient. I’d love to drive to and from in a Packard car. My grandfather used to restore them. 🙂

If not, it will be the ole ’99 Toyota for me!

i’m on the fence about the limo too.. i like the convenience of it but am not really sure if that short ride is worth that much money plus i dont want to feel rushed afterward the ceremony thinkin abt the limo driver and his ticking clock and

@luli29: I was thinking about renting a chrysler 300 or something from enterprise or another place. We live close to an airport so it would be pretty easy.

I would do rental car or just assign one person to drive the two of you after ceremony and after reception. The photog and others can hop in someone else’s car!

I took a trolley.  It was $600 and we had it the entire day!
