We ordered our pocketfolds from cardsandpockets.com, and we are doing ribbon as well. We ordered “glue dots” from there, Found here to hold it all together. They work really well!

I am using sealing wax (this pic is on a test envelope which is white, but my pocketfolds are sapphire blue).  I ordered the wax and compass rose stamp from http://www.nostalgicimpressions.com/.  I have the compass rose on our invitations too so it fits our nautical theme.  They have tons of stamps including personalized seals. Monograms, and pretty much anything you can think of, and they are very inexpensive.

The wax goes in any glue gun.  So easy!  This pic is a little blobby, the final product will be more round, like I said it was a test.

This compass rose is on our invitations and on the enclosures:

We are big boaters and took a navigation course last year, so I also included the coordinates on the invitation (N40°49’27.08, W73°38’33.24), I love how it all ties together.  I’m happy so far with my DIY work 🙂 But boy it’s a LOT of work!  Worth it to me to save $5000, that’s how much more I would have had to pay on top of materials to have the 120 invitations I’m DIYing custom made.

Nothing creative – I used a belly band. I secured the band with two sided tape.

We did satin-like ribbon and hot glued the ends together then put our monogram over that with hot glue.

I didnt have pocket folds, but I had to package everything together, so I just ordered Baker’s Twine from Paper Source and tied it all together like a belly band. It worked! 🙂
