Oddly enough, my mom actually introduced us.
She worked at the same company he did – I never, in a billion years, would have thought I would marry a man that my mom would introduce me to. So, I was coming home from Chicago one weekend (from college), and I needed a ride home from the train station. My mom couldn’t get off work. So, mom offered future fiance $$ to pick me up. As a fellow poor college student, he accepted. We hit it off, but nothing happened.
Two months later, he was in the city & had to pick up concert tickets for my mom’s boss. I picked them up & he was to get them from me. Then… we really hit it off.
The rest, as they say, is history.

I voted other because we actually met way back in high school, though we didn’t know each other incredibly well. But, we reconnected through a mutual friend a couple of years ago and now we are getting married!

I’m impressed with the number of other online dating successes!

We also met on eharmony, but we grew up in neighboring towns, literaly 5 min from each other! He’s 9 years older than me though, so it’s not likely that we would have known each other growing up. But I’m sure we crossed paths at several points, and we always wonder if we ever really did

I met a guy on eharmony that I was crazy about (who lived 2 states away), but that guy dumped me. While I was dating him, though, I met my current fiance when we all were at my now ex’s house to play poker. After being dumped, I asked my now fiance if he wanted to go rock climbing… we stayed friends for a short while, but then turned into more

Work! We actually worked at the same place up until about 3 months ago. And he is senior to me so we kept it secret for about a year… but no one really cared once it came out, haha.
