I met my Fiance at my Father’s installation service. My father was being installed as a pastor and after the service was a sit down meal. I knew the carters of the event since I was young, it was his aunt and uncle. Brian and I would occasionally run into each other during the dinner and also glance at each other. As the night ended I headed to my car, he came outside and said “I hope your boyfriend is treating you right”. I answered back “I do not have a boyfriend”. He asked me for my number, I told him to give me his because I was not sure if I wanted him to have mine. Months before I had a problem with a guy who would not stop calling me. Brian and I talked the same night, and later he admitted to me that he told his aunt and uncle that he had to have me. Four and a half years later and we are getting married.!!!! A winter-solstice masquerade ball- I.KID.YOU.NOT!
I walked into the dance hall, he turned around, our eyes met, he asked me to dance right there and then. We spent the entire night in hysterics whirling around the dance-floor like a couple of lunatics, and he hasn’t let me go from his arms since, haha

We met at our freshman orientation for college! Randomly, we were placed in the same small group of about 10 students (out of a class of about 2000). Then, we actually ended up living next door to each other in our freshman dorm. Looking back, there was definitely some fate at work! We were really good friends first, and started dating about 10 months after we first met.

busybee200717: My story is similar to yours. I work for the bank, monday-friday shifts. My manager told me a branch needed coverage on a saturday and she basically begged me to go. I agreed. That morning I was two hung up phone calls away from calling in sick but decided I’d go anyways. My Fiance happened to go into the branch that day and I mentioned I was going to the car show, he said he would see me there. I disregarded it but sure enough I saw him, and he found me on instagram by searching for my car….and the rest is history, wedding is 23 days away.

We met in college when he moved into the house across the street from the one I was renting. Before either of us had moved in for the school year, his roommates saw my roommates and thought they were cute, so they brought a bag of skittles over. My roommates thought his roommates were also cute, so when I moved up, they asked me to bake brownies to take over (neither of them knew how to work anything except the microwave lol).
I did, and when we took them over, Darling Husband had finally moved up and was there. The next day we needed help with our router so I went over and asked if one of them could help us. Darling Husband apparently had thought I was really cute the night before and jumped at the chance. The rest was history… we saw each other literally every single day from that point forward and got engaged 6 months later!

busybee200717: my sister got me a job at the company she works for. He worked at the same company. It was his half brother’s dad’s company and he was training to be the CFO while I was just the admin assistant. It started off with me accidentally flinging a rubber band at him. It hit him right in the forehead. I was mortified but he played it cool and flung back at me and said you must construct additional pylons. (Gamer nerd reference) From there it was history.

We worked together but I had never noticed him… to be fair, I did’t really notice anyone there, I just did my work and went home. An older lady I had gotten pretty close to started chatting me up about him(still didn’t know who he was), he found out and came to my desk to introduce himself and his smile just made me melt. I had to leave our first date early because my grandmother had a stroke(which he thought was me just trying to get out of the date, lol). Our second first date last the entire weekend and we became official after that. We spent almost a year at the same job keeping our relationship a secret, it was pretty fun. It’s been 3.5 years now. 🙂

My little brother!
After my ex-FI and I broke up for good right after New Year’s I kind of commenced on a long year ‘fuck everything i do what i want’ and internet dated a LOT. I quickly got really frustrated with a lack of men who were genuine and decided to give it up and put dating on the back burner altogether. Well lo and behold one day that December my brother invited my then future-SO to come to lunch with us and some friends one day and we spent the entire time talking with only eyes for each other.
By New Year’s Eve we had our first kiss and have been inseperable ever since. (: No concrete plans yet, but I know he’s perfect for me.

We met through a random opponent matchup in an iPhone game. For reals! We started chatting via the game, exchanged phone numbers, talked for hours, visited each other and did long distance for awhile before he moved to my side of the country! I always just say we met online. Lol

I had just moved out for the first time and my new roommate was a girl I didn’t really know. I came home to someone else’s car parked in my spot in the driveway, and when I walked into the house, I was greeted by my roommate and the most handsome man I have ever laid eyes on. Turns out it was her brother, and she immediately demanded he go move his car which he did. He ended up having to park down the street and sprinting back to try to “catch another glimpse” of me. We both said hi, and then I went upstairs to sleep even though it was 830pm. (Romantic, I know)
I later found out he had come over to talk to my roommate (his sister) about how he wanted to break up with his long-term girlfriend, and needed her advice. She gave him good advice… Not long after, he dumped his girlfriend, and after an appropriate amount of time, we started to hang out and talk. He proposed within six months of beginning our dating, and we were married in just under a year of our first date. It was cheesy and perfect. 🙂

I met my now fiancé at his work! He works for Good Year and at time I was still in college so my parents paid for my car repairs. It took a whole month to figure out what was going on so I was seeing this guy a whole bunch! My Mom was the one that kept mentioning this HG ( hot ginger) he’s a 6’4 red head and I was like why is she talking about this car manager person so much… lol My Mom said she thought we would be great together and I should ask him out. I was thinking about her statement a lot and decided to go back to shop to get brighter headlights installed on my car. I ended up having the wrong bulb and he drove me to car shop and helped me get right bulb. During that drive I ended up asking him out and he said he’d really like that!
It’s been the best relationship I’ve ever had! I’ve never felt the type of connection that we have. We dated for about 3 years before getting engaged and getting married October 1st 2016!
My Mom passed away 2 years ago so knowing that my Mom saw connection btw us before we were even together is amazing! My Mom set my sister up with her husband now too! ♡

monkey89: totally forgot this but when I wrote my number I totally left out a digit. At the time I was working at Lowe’s and he called every Lowe’s in houston area to find me! I knew he was something special at that point!
