We met on the train. We started talking on the platform and I gave him my number before I got off the train.

Our first date was on new years eve. I had an accident and broke my two front teeth during the date and had to rush to the dentist. After the dentist I came over and celebrated the stroke of 12 together.

We have been inseparable every since.

Everyone has such cute stories! Ours is less adorable. We drunkenly hooked up at a party in college. I was so embarassed but kind of felt like, whatever it’s not like I’ll ever see him again. A few days later he found me on Facebook and asked if I’d like to go see X-Men and go to a Puerto Rican restuarant. Apparantly, the night of the party, I had mentioned my love for Puerto Rican food and superhero movies.

So we went on that date and several more throughout that summer. We had a great time and didn’t take it too seriously, since we knew I was going back to school at the end of the summer. Fall came around and I was disappointed but prepared to break it off, but he ended up making arrangements to move in with some friends that happened to live in my college town. I thought it was a little premature for him to move to a new town after “hanging out” for only three months, but I guess it worked out 🙂 That was seven years ago.

FB!! My hubs saw my profile in the ‘people you may know’ section and he pm’d me. We started texting that same day and went on our first date 5 days later. We’ve been inseparable ever since, and just celebrated 6 months being married. He’s the love of my life and I knew it from the beginning!!

busybee200717:  we met on Tinder.  Chatted of line for a few days,  met a week later.  Nine months later he proposed and we were married six months this later.

At a wedding. I’d been friends with the groom since kindergarten and was there on my own and he was a groomsman. I drank too much, he looked after me the next day (and even packed up my hotel room as I was still too drunk to do it!) then hung out with me for the day after the wedding.

We had our first official date two days later (he picked me up from work and took me to mini golf, then dinner then for ice cream) and coincidentally, our wedding will be three years to the day after that first really date.

We went to middle school together. He was my TA in cooking class, as he was two years older than me.

His best friend, was my best friend’smolder brother, who happened to live right next door.

He was my first kiss!

We started dating my Junior year of High school.

5 years in August 1st!

We met during our sophomore year of high school. We actually were chemistry lab partners during our junior year (so cliche!) and didn’t start dating until our senior year of high school. We have really grown up together and I wouldn’t have it any other way. 🙂

We met on a train on our way to a local show (which is what we Australians call a fair I guess lol) when I was 16 and he was 15. We were going with some mutual friends and I was actually dating someone else at the time (they went to school together but didn’t move in the same circles). My Fiance says that he liked me straightaway; I thought he was nice but my thoughts didn’t go further than that lol (I was in a relationship after all). We added each other on MSN and chatted whenever we were online at the same time. A few months later, my relationship ended. We saw each other at a few things hosted by mutual friends and he eventually worked up the courage to ask me out. I hadn’t really been looking at him as anything more than a friend, but he made me laugh and was very sweet so I thought I’d give him a go. It’s our 9 year anniversary this week actually and we’re getting married in December.

On  a college vacation my friends  discovered I’d never had a one night stand and persuaded me to  try one,  being away from my hometown and all that. But it seems  to have lasted rather a lot of years ………………

I actually met my bf on Plenty of Fish. I had been doing online dating for about 2 years. I was still in college and realized I had no interest in college boys. I wanted to date an older guy that would be ready to settle down and have kids faster. I went on tons of horrible dates and had a few, short-lived crappy boyfriends. Then I met my bf online and we knew after the 2nd or 3rd date that we were “the one”. He just moved from Anaheim, CA to St. Louis, MO (where I am) and joined POF so he could meet new people. Turns out he was on the site for 2 weeks….compared to my two years. Ugh. Anyways, we get along so well and we have virtually the same opinion on morals, values, politics, etc. And I love to cook and he loves to eat 🙂 So it works out pretty well.

I met my fiance while I was working as a Hostess at a restaurant in the town we both grew up in. He walked in one day and decided to come up to me and started a conversation. Now 5 years later we are getting married!

Craigslist hookup *shameface* Hilariously enough, I remember swipping him on OKC. My sister and I laughed about how he looked like a serial killer. My dorktastic sweetheart never smiles in photography. Hence his intense “serial killer.” If it meant to be its meant to bewink
