On my fourth outing to try dresses on. I had a vision in my mind of EXACTLY what I wanted based on online shopping. I hadn’t found the one, though, and I was feeling bummed. I had gone three previous times with friends, but the fourth time was only with my mother. She convinced me to try on dresses completely outside of what I envisioned. I fought, I whined, I gave in to shut her up. After a few of her picks were unsuccessful, she pointed out a dress being tried on by another bride, and I fought some more.

I tried it on and literally told my consultant, “Damnit she’s right.” I knew it was the one the second I looked in the mirror.

I found my dress at Davids Bridal, after trying on 8 dresses that I thought I loved (they all looked horrible on me), my sister picked out the gown I ended up getting. 🙂

I knew I wanted Nicole Miller and my favorite dress ended up looking the best! I’m not going to bother going anywhere else.

I would have never picked a dress online! I’d have to try it on. I went to every bridal shop I wanted to go to. The one for me was the one that made me cry.

No “it” moment here. I picked the one I felt  was most comfortable and that I could wear all day. and also the prettiest of the 50 I tried.

I looked online then went to a dress shop. I’m so glad I did, too! When I tried on a dress I loved online, I realized it wasn’t very flattering on me.

I had one custom made because I found a pic on Pinterest that I was positive was “the one” only to find out it was a one of a kind.  So now its a two of a kind 🙂  kinda… I made a few changes.

I went to a wedding fashion show and fell in love with one designer’s style. Went to her studio the next day and found my dress. It was love at first sight!

I saw the picture online and KNEW it was the one. I found others that I liked as well, but she was always my favorite. I had to have her specially ordered since not many places around here still carried her in sample, and I am so glad I did. I love her now more than I did before. I don’t have pictures atm, but I remember the way I looked and LOVED it!
