I am going for a hair trial next weekend. My hair is naturally frizzy, ugly waves. I usually straighten it with a straightener and it looks great! For my hair trial, the stylist said to wear it natural and not to wash it for a day or two. Natural on me does not look good! Is this what your stylist recomended? It’s not such a big deal before the trial, but the day before the wedding is the rehearsal and I don’t want to be sporting my frizzy hair just because of the hair appt the next day.
How did you wear your hair for the trial? Did they wash/blow out your hair? My lady just said to make sure my hair will be dry. Help!

Good question. I feel the same way about my hair. I’m straightenning mine the day before the trial. I did this when I was in my sister’s wedding and it worked for me. However, I want my hair down and curly for my wedding, so it seems like a strange thing to do. But I feel like if I don’t, my hair will be a frizzy mess.

Do you hair like usual for your rehearsal dinner, but wash it when you get home after the rehearsal (just water, no shampoo – this will undo the straightening, but will hopefully still preserve the natural oils in your hair that are so helpful for your appointment the next day). You should therefore be able to have straight hair for the rehearsal, and still be able to go to your appointment with your “natural” hair. That’s my suggestion.
