I have HORRIBLE writing so I always put envelopes thru the printer!

I’ve received invitations where the address was printed on a clear label, and stuck on the envelope (grey) so that it maintains the color. You can use a calligraphy like font too!

I will be printing each name and address by hand with a fine point black pen. If you want to do the same, you can get different color pens at Joann, Michaels, or an office supply store. You will just have to practice writing with one to see which one writes the best for you.

ran mine thru the printer using the same font that i had the invites printed with. turned out gorgeous – got lots of complements. folks thought it was calligraphy and hand written! 🙂

We did the same thing as Spaganya–I have had several people ask who our calligrapher was. I jokingly have said “Cannon”, but no one gets the joke so I end up having to explain….

I just put them through the printer as well.

Our envelopes are too dark to run through the printer, so I bought a silver pen from Target and will just hand write each address in my prettiest “calligraphy” font. The pen is cool in that is has two size tips on each end (fatter and skinnier one). I think Sharpie brand makes similar pens too.

I print them through the printer. One. By. One.

The printer! They all turned out so nice too, it just took forever deciding what type of font to use.

We did clear labels for our envelopes… the envelope paper was too slick to print on, and we didn’t want it to smudge. Turned out perfect!
