I asked them over Facebook- we all really live far apart so it might seem casual but thats our primary means of communication.
I made them cards that I’ll send to thank them and let them know how happy I am that they’re standing up with me, mostly because I love making cards and will use any excuse to make one 🙂

I didn’t. It seems like a new fad… I’ve never heard of anyone doing this until recently and now it seems all over pinterest. Honestly, a wedding is expensive enough and the girls who are my BMs are close enough to me to know they’d be a Bridesmaid or Best Man, they don’t need a proposal… One of my girls a huge cynic and I think she would’ve laughed in my face if I tried to do something over the top or ultra girly like that… I just told them “I’m engaged!!!!! You have to be a bridesmaid, ok?” lol.
If you want to do something special, I think a little mini bottle of champagne and a card with a note written inside would be more than sufficient 🙂

gave them all a card and a keyring with their initial on it. inside the cards I wrote “you are such a key person in my life, I hope you’ll be my bridesmaid!”

I’m pretty sure all the people I want in my wedding already know they will be.. I still want to do something cute to officially ask them. I dont want to spend very much on them I just think its a cute gesture. And I have only started hearing about all this from pinterest …. I am loving all the ideas!! Keep them coming!

Texts. I’m not a mushy person nor am I creative. My friends and I communicate 90% of the time via text. I think my best friend/MOH was on the phone. I was asked on the phone when I was a Maid/Matron of Honor for a good friend.
