edit: I totally misunderstood your post!

I just wore socks inside my shoes.

also, if they are dyed, keep water off of them just in case!  stay out of the kitchen and bathroom! (I did a test area with water on mine and discovered that water would stain my shoes. totally annoying as they were very expensive.)

as for the bottom of your shoes– you could put masking tape on them and wear them indoors only.

caution: shoes that are not scuffed on the bottom are insanely slippery. after your photo shoot, you might want to slap on some of these puppies so you don’t slip and fall down during the reception:

I would just wear socks and only wear them indoors. I generally break in my nice shoes doing laundry or cleaning, lol.

Don’t worry too much about the bottoms. If you’re worried about photos I’m sure your photographer will be able to get creative so it’s not seen if it’s a bit dirty.

If you’re really worried about it maybe get a cheap area rug to throw down if you’re going to be standing in one area for a while.

@thursdayschild:  Exactly. Do laundry in them! I tend to just walk around on the carpet for a while.

Maybe you could protect the top by wrapping them in saran wrap?
