I just got my BFP 3 days ago and I’ve been waiting to tell my husband. The last time I was pregnant we were arguing and I threw the stick at him to tell him (let’s blame hormones), so this time I want to make it special.
im thinking of telling him later today but I have no idea how to do it.

I shouted down the stairs to him, “There’s two lines!”
I couldn’t have kept that secret from him for more than one minute and fully believe that the news itself is special enough that you don’t need to do anything other than just tell him.

I showed him the test and asked if he thought there were two lines because I wasn’t quite sure if I was seeing it clearly. I could never have kept it from him, I wanted him to know right away.

He told me, only because I was afraid to look at it, so he did first! But if I were to find out first I would’ve immediately told him. I don’t think I could keep that secret for 3 days!! Lol. And haha courtneysokal that’s great!

I said “OMG come in here!” and showed him the test. I am not into big productions.

I asked him to come up stairs and look at my test – I wasn’t sure if I was seeing things. I wouldn’t have been able to keep it a secret for three days! I told my mom the next day, haha.

maritimebride2016 : So I’m NOT pregnant at the moment, but he is obsessed with Amazon and orders things from there all the time It’s a running joke that we have so many Amazon boxes, so I am going to have an Amazon box “delivered” and act all weird about having no clue what it is and have him open it to find the pregnancy test.
It’s tres cheesy but, I don’t care!

My friend got a custom onesie made that said “baby (their last name)” and put it on the top of his sock draw when he was in the shower.
That’s what I think I’ll do if I don’t shout it out of the bathroom like PP have said 😊

we only had sex once and I told him we were out for the month. when we came back from our vacation I took a test and it was positive I literally couldnt believe my eyes. I had ordered a special onesie that said “newest buffalo bills fan” (his favorite team) when we started TTC a month prior, so I wrapped the digital test in the onesie and gave it to him. he started crying…it was very heartwarming. he’s so excited for our little boy to arrive!
congrats on your BFP btw!

maritimebride2016 : I told him I had a late birthday present for him (we conceived on his birthday lol) and told him to close his eyes, then I put little white booties in his hand. It was cute!

We already suspected so I peed on a stick and said “yup”. I don’t think I’m normal 😛

Do you have time to run to the store? Maybe get a box and fill it with small baby like items and in the bottom wrapped in tissue paper hide the test.
Or I saw someone get two jars and fill each one with M&Ms one had nuts and one didn’t. She labeled them and tied a balloon two both and said what do you want baby (lastname) to be?

I printed off a picture of a diaper with “Shit just got real, Baby C coming June 2017” and I handed it to him lol

The first time I put on a shirt that I had purchased that had a cute saying and an arrow pointing to my belly. I put a hoodie over it and unzipped it while sitting on his lap.
The second time I tried to show him a pregnancy test and he didn’t see it so I told him a few days later while laying in bed. I can’t remember exactly what I said but it was pretty casual.
I like the idea of casually slipping it in. When we told our parents we just said “oh x,y,z is the first time we saw our baby” when talking about different dates. It took a minute to register and they were so surprised.
