I wore a veil but not over my face.  The over the face blushers feel dated to me and I am generally not a fan of them myself.  But I think veils are beautiful and getting married without wearing one wouldn’t even have been a possibility in my mind.

Well, I said yes and that I wore it over my face, because that is what I am thinking I will do.  Was not even going to wear a veil until my sister let me try hers on with my gown.  It was perfect, and so now I am toying with the idea.  I was thinking it might take some of the nerves away if I am behind the veil…..

I will be wearing a veil over my face. I like the innocence of it.

i’ll be wearing a blusher over my face. the veiling of the bride is a jewish tradition. i think my dad will flip it back when we get to the altar.

I was just wondering how many people even wore them.  I don’t know when I see pics w/o them, which seems like most of them, if they have just been taken off by that time.  I’m on the fence about wearing mine, but if I do, it will be coming from under my bun.

I’m torn on the idea of veiling the face.  Aesthetically, I like it.  But culturally/symbolically, it gives my the willies.

Nope, not gonna wear one at all.  I keep picking on my Fiance about it, though he knows I’m not serious.  It doesn’t fit me or the theme, so we’re not going with it.

I voted that I wore one over my face.  The wedding isn’t until June 12, but this is what I will do.  I think Fiance will lift it, but closer to the end of the ceremony.  I’m wearing one over my face in accordance with Jewish traditions.

I will NOT be wearing a veil over my face. I respect everybody’s opinions and preference, but to be honest it freaks me out not being able to see :s When I bought my dress, the consultant tried to put a veil over my face and I didn’t like it at all :s

I’m doing the same as mwitter80, it kinda just goes across my forehead and one eye. I like it 🙂
