Our orignal plan included about 110 people.  We scaled down at had 65 at our wedding. 🙂

Our original plan changed SOOOOO many times.  At the highest, our guest list was around 400 people, but we had to scale it way back.

We ended up inviting 105 people and are expecting about 75.

    Ours changed quite a bit!

We had about 150 people on our initial guest list.  Then we decided on a smaller wedding and were planning on about 100.  We ended up inviting 118 (120, including us!) and that was the absolute MAX, we couldn’t have fit any more people in our reception room if we tried.  We even had to sacrifice a traditional head table–which I really wanted, but it turned out fine anyway.

@GroovyHippieChick:  Ditto!  The numbers are nearly exactly the same as ours, and Fiance is shocked that we have included so many more on the list.

We were at 150, but our venue has a minimum of 165 so we added a few people. Now its at 210. It could easily get a little higher, but I don’t want to invite too many over the venue’s max (200). We will probably have a high decline rate with 80% Out of Town guests, so I’m hoping that by inviting 210 we end up with 165-175.

We’re not quite at the point of finalizing a guest list, but I am PRAYING that my Future In-Laws don’t add too many more to the list. I REALLY want a small (like 80 tops) wedding and my SO has a HUGE family, so I’m hoping if he invite all aunts, uncles and cousins they won’t complain too much… not looking forward to that part!

We planned on 225 when budgeting, the guestlist grew to 300 (insert freak out), invites went out to 275 (still freaking out), and we ended up with 220 on the day of (yay!).

Ours so far (invites don’t get mailed for another month but it should stay about the same from here on out) has stayed almost the same as our original list…a couple people said no already after Save-The-Date Cards (all are friends of Future Mother-In-Law and live thousands of miles away) and my Fiance has added a couple friends from work and in the end after some people leaving the list and some being added we may be literally one or two more than we had originally planned on inviting. Also at this point we expect almost everybody we’re inviting to actually attend *knockonwood* other than extenuating circumstances, so it should stay relatively the same even after RSVPs are in.
