Look at their different styles, what wedding photos capture what you want captured, who you connect with the most. Fiance and I chose ours based on the fact they take great photos, even though they’re not professional photographers, did a great job of my parents’ wedding photos and our engagement photos, and they’re my aunt and uncle.

@kansas_nurse:  I had a hard time finding a photographer.  Our biggest hurdle was the price.  We are getting married in a touristy area, and the prices are very over inflated.    I did a lot of looking at their work, and reading the feedback from other couples.  But in the end what I like the most about the photographer I chose is the behind the scene shots of her working.  I was just as facinated with those pics as I was of her work.  After that it was her prompt response and her willingness to stay within OUR budget.  We had instant conversation, and when speaking to her on the phone it was like talking to my sister.  Definitely go see them in person, I have not met my photographer as we are having a Destination Wedding.  I will be meeting with her in the fall.  She was receptive to me not knowing what I wanted and she communicates well on how weddings usually go.

Good luck!
