I’ve read that normally the wrinkles come out after the veil being hung up for a couple days…

I don’t see how your dress or veil will get ruined if it’s in the bag until you hang it up for pictures and such..plus the girls should know better than to touch or be too close to your stuff, right?

My dress came in a special bag and I kept it in there and hung it on a high rod until we got to the venue–I didn’t put it on until we got there, and it had been steamed just prior to going into the bag.

My veil was also steamed (definitely a good idea) and we hung it on a wire hanger from the little comb that stuck into my hair (a wire comb)–is that possible?  So we hung that from the rod, too, and my wonderful Maid/Matron of Honor carried it up above her head so it wouldn’t drag on the ground on the way into the venue.

I was also worried about wrinkles but it was perfect, so try to relax!

for my friends wedding, we just used the iron in the hotel room and held it out about 4-5 inches and let the iron “Steam” the veil just enough for the wrinkles to fall out and it worked beautifully!

We also did that for our bridesmaids dresses, which were chiffon and got very wrinkled.

Steam + gravity should do the trick!

Congrats, 3 weeks will be here before you know it!
