(Closed) How do I cite my readings in the program??

Lol, if you want to use a well-known citation format, MLA says to italicize book names.  But really, I’m sure you could bold the name, put it in quotes, etc… and no one would know the difference.  ๐Ÿ™‚

I’ve seen a lot of people just site like this:

 

"Title of reading." (Tab a few times) Source and/or author.

Don’t put publisher or year details like in MLA. It’ll look to cluttered.

I wanted to include my readings in greater length than were read in my programs. I put the section header "Reading" then the book name and author, followed by the extended quote. I think that was sufficient. The book name was underlined and there were symbols separating the book and author.

I did this to correspond with my other section headings: acknowledgments, music, readings. 

I think whatever looks good in your programs will be fine. I think the previous poster is correct that you don’t need to worry about formal citations of years, page numbers, etc.
