(Closed) How do I describe this ring to the jeweler? (halo without a gap in the bands)

I’m pretty sure that’s called sitting flush, but you should describe it just like you did in this post! It’s weirdly hard to find pictures of that from a side view though, haha.

@Kit_Kath:  I would bring in printed pictures. Say I want my Engagement Ring and wedding band to sit flush like this: 

NOT LIKE THIS:

 NOT LIKE THIS:

AND NOT LIKE THIS:

(the second and third pictures are different because the third was made to fit around the e-ring exactly, where as the the second is just a random curved wedding band someone bought for the e-ring, not a set so it doesnt fit flush.

 

Sorry I dont have the name of it for you!

You can also say you want the halo in a cathedral type setting so the halo itself is not sitting on your finger.
