I’m probably just going to bring some snacks and sandwiches before we all head over to the hotel in case they do get hungry. Knowing my girls though, they would have already ate before they come over to get ready. If anything, we are all going to talk about it before the big day and see what they are doing and what they think should happen to accomodate everyone. They’ll probably say “whatever is easiest for you!” so I’ll just just bring food anyway just in case.

we were in a catholic church bridal room, and werent allowed to be there super early (had to come with makeup and hair done), but Clif bars were our snack of choice.

Ohh I love vineyard weddings! Sounds gorgeous!
Good on you for thinking of food for the morning of getting ready… It’s so easy to overlook but it’s really important! I have had to run out last minute, hair done, in sweatpants, to get us girls something to eat.. because we all just forgot! It’s much easier when planned in advance!
I’d say order a sandwich tray and fruit/veggie tray from a grocery store.. that way your girls can pick at some food whenever they feel hungry! Also, don’t forget the bottled water!

For the weddings I’ve been in, the bride usually has someone (often their dad or a groomsman) pick up a platter of sandwiches and maybe some veggies and dip and fruit; nothing too elaborate. Definitely make sure there’s enough for everyone, but in my experience the bridal party doesn’t eat a ton on the wedding day so just don’t go with too heavy or too much food.

I would stick to lighter fare than sandwiches.. The little tea sandwiches maybe but, I wouldn’t touch bread the day of my wedding out of fear of ballooning up with bloat.
I would go for fresh fruit, veggies, mixed nuts, and salad. Also, lots of water!

A wedding I was in, in May – they had small sandwiches, skewers with mozz. cheese and tomatoes, crackers, and mixed nuts for us to snack on. This was at the church that we got ready at. We had something similar in another friends wedding, with extras like a meat/cheese try.
I am still undecided on where I’ll get ready, but wherever, I plan to do somethin similar – small sandwiches, finger food, etc. Easy to eat and less to spill.

I went to the grocery store and bought breads, meats, and cheeses for the girls to make sandwiches. Also had fruit and mimosas. 😉
