I’m trying to mock up some DIY invites at the moment and I’ve just realised I don’t have space for the guests names on it. I’ve had a look through people’s examples and templates and it doesn’t seem to be done!
Is there a rule that I should or shouldn’t put the guest’s names on the invites? Seems like something I would have known! Fiance hasn’t a clue either!

I don’t think any of the invitations I received had my name on the invite, and I never thought twice about it.

I’ve never seen an invite with each guests name of it. That goes on the envelope.

im so confused…how would you even do this? you would have to have a different template for each individual invitation for the printer…or are you printing them yourselves?

Ok that’s a resounding what-the-hell-are-you-even-talking-about then!! That makes lie a lot easier! Thanks ladies!
While I’m on the topic, does anyone know where I can find like fancy scrolls as a font or something that I could print across the top of the invitation? I bought a swirly stamp but it’s working out harder to nail that thing straight and centre than I thought!

@Smiley Bride: maybe a rolling stamp from michael’s or ac moore? i dont know if it exists, but it might work

Nope, no names, only yours and your FI’s 🙂 So no worries!

Smiley – try googling “Flourishes” and you’ll get a whole lot of free downloads that you can try.

@Smiley Bride: You put their first names on the inner envelopes.
