suziq23 :  could you post a pic of it? I would say sheaths in general are easier to pee with, that you could just hike the dress material up, put it under your arms, and go.

I don’t think the train will make much of a difference. I had a sheath with a train as well, but it may depend on how long and heavy of a train you have.

I had a sheath dress with a cathedral train.

It was bustled for most of the day…I had it down for a few photos.  I just pulled up my dress and did my business.  However, mine wasn’t that tight.  If it’s too tight to hike up, you might be SOL then…

suziq23 :  lovely dress! Hmm, I can’t imagine that it still can’t be rolled up, but you’ll know after your fitting. Try it in the dressing room! Haha, if so then limit your liquids on the day of and take it all off each time you go. Good luck!

I was concerned about having to use the restroom in my wedding dress. I normally go pretty frequently. As silly as it sounds, I always pictured myself having to go in the middle of the ceremony. Somehow when that day came though, I didn’t have to go at all the entire time I had the dress on. My point is, this may not be as big of a deal as you think. You may not have to go at all!

If the skirt is too tight to lift over your hips, you’ll have to take the whole thing off to use the bathroom. Did you try sitting in your dress? I’d imagine if you can sit without the top slipping down or skirt ripping, you’l probably have enough wiggle room to pee in your dress. Is the train detachable or will you bustle? I wouldn’t want to wrestle with a long train in a bathroom stall

no dress should be so tight you cant move in it, otherwise its impractical and doesnt fit

sheaths should be the easiest dresses to manouver

I peed facing the toilet instead of away from it like normal. Worked out well for me in my tight sheath 🙂

That’s not what I would consider a sheath dress, but you can’t lift the skirt at all?

luvely :this works very well if youre using a regular toilet  i had a sheath as well, quite fitted and we had an outdoor wedding in a meadow..so we had to bring in porta potties. I just shimmied the dress up up up over my hips and had the train looped over my arm. My Maid/Matron of Honor had to help pull it back down into place after. I also had “spanks” on. It was interesting but managable.

Someone else posted about this a few days ago.  She bought a She Wee, or something like that, from Amazon.  It sounds gross, but you do what you gotta do.

suziq23 :

If you aren’t wearing a shaper under it, if someone holds the dress for you, you should be fine…if you are wearing a shaper, good luck…lol…I wore a “fit and flare” dress that was very fitted and needed a shaper…my husband actually held my dress while I attempted to pee…but….I still ended up peeing all over my shaper…thankfully, I had actually brought a second shaper, so I was able to change…he helped with the whole ordeal…so romantic and sexy…not! LOL

This is going to sound ridiculous, but if I could have a “do over”, this is what I would do – buy a “Go Girl” (or something similar) and practice with it before the big day! (My friends and I joked about it before the wedding, in hindsight, it could have been a really good idea!)
