(Closed) How do I turn post earrings into dangles?

The way I would do it is to get a second pearl bead (or other bead you would like to use), attach a chain to that, and then make that chain dangle down from the original post by inserting the post through the last link on the chain (maybe 1 inch long chain?)… Does that make sense?

The only thing I can think of would be to buy the dangly part (however many pearls you want, or chain) and connect that to the back of the post before putting it in your ear.

For example, you could buy some chain, a headpin, and a pearl. Put the pearl onto the headpin and make a loop, then attach that to the end of the chain. Then cut the chain however long you want it to dangle, and string the very last loop of the chain onto the back of the stud. Then put it in your ear. Get it?

Looks like you can just loop your dangly part through the backing and voila!
