hi bees! Does anyone know what the proper wording would be for a new set of invites, letting my guests officially know what the new date is??28
My wedding was cancelled (orig date Aug 27th), i’m not redoing any crazy invites -just a 4bar card, gorgeous paper that i’m printing out in Burges script-
Should i say
The Wedding of ABC & 123
which was postponed, will now take place on
October 28, 2011
Reception at time
I”m just wondering if i need to say “which was postponed” or should i just say the wedding of abc 123 will now take place on october

I dont think you have to necessarily write “which was postponed” I think the part where it says “*will now* take place” pretty much implies it. Also, considering that August 27th has passed, Im sure all of your guests know that it was postponed 🙂

How about the ‘rescheduled ceremony’. The ‘which was postponed’ sounds a little odd. But I agree you have the option of not putting anything.
