@RenoRose: I dont tell people bc i made the mistake of using my name and there is pictures…so i am afraid people will see some of my “vents”. My husband thinks its good for me (a place to just talk) so he doesnt say to much!

I met FH through a forum, so he doesn’t think it’s weird at all (although I suspect he wonders what I post about). Like some of the PP, we’ve become close friends with many people from that forum and travel with them quite often, and I suspect quite a few of them will be at our wedding.

@RenoRose: Exactly.  J interacts and talks with people all of the time.  The only problem I have with it sometimes is that he tells me that he HAS to be on-line to do something on the game (they play in groups sometimes).  I sometimes look at the game when he’s on and ask him if these people have lives.  The same people are on every day, all day.  I’m so glad he’s not like that.  I guess I wouldn’t be around if he was.  He wouldn’t know I exist!  haha.

@RenoRose: Haha! Yes! I am constantly talking about posts on here.  I often start out with a random thought about a post and he’s like “where did this come from?!” then I have to explain.

..yeah, I guess I am addicted. 😛

I’m always telling bf abount something I read here, or giving my friend some bee advice. They both think I’m addicted but other than that no one else knows.

I get weird looks too.  My Fiance thinks it’s hilarious and weird that I actually read these blogs/boards.  Oh, and don’t get him started on the fact that I went to two local meet-ups to meet some of my “internet friends”.  He totally makes fun of me.  But hey..how the heck does he expect me to plan a wedding?! i need my “internet friends”!

@RenoRose: Oh yeah! I am definitely the same way!  That’s too funny.  I read a post on here not too long ago about how “every guy has a girl that got away” so I sat there and thought about it.  I later brought it up.  Too funny.

I get strange looks all the time as I am on a few forums.  haha It just makes me laugh as I find I keep telling the same people that give me looks about something I read on the forums over and over.

I’ve mentioned it to a couple people, and my fiance occasionally skims over my shoulder.  All my friends know that I used to be really involved in online fandom, where I made a whole bunch of friends, some of whom became close offline friends.  I think that what’s more surprising to people who know me is that it’s a wedding forum because I am mostly really tomboyish and a little geeky.

This is an awesome topic. 🙂 Just sayin’.

My best friend asks about it. She’s “not yet waiting” and doesn’t want to join until she is. My Fiance thinks that it’s funny, but doesn’t have a problem with it. My Mom “sympathizes.” As in, she’s addicted to wedding shows. But I don’t really talk about it with other people that I’m not close to. So I’m not sure how people would react? Hm.
