They don’t have a lot in common with the details of the gowns (neck and waistlines, etc) but they both have simple lines and a relaxed feel so I think they go well together.

There are very few Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses that I would feel happy wearing and that’s one of them

I’d go with a different bm dress. I think if they were strapless that would work out great!

Something about the neckline and straps on the Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses looks off to me.

I don’t think the fabrics look good together. The Bridesmaid or Best Man dress is too shiny for your wedding dress.

The thing is, those dresses don’t seem ‘vintage’ to me. They seem very modern, with clean lines. They’re not ugly at all, but I think they are very different than the lines and style of your dress and they aren’t vintage-y, which is your theme.

If all your girls agree on them, I’d go with it, just because I know how hard that can be, and it’s important that everyone feels pretty and comfortable. I do think they look great.

But, I LOVE the suggestions from @melisslp  Gorgeous and definetly a more classic, vintage look!

@double0bride – Good point about all of the girls agreeing upon them.  Sometimes that is half of the “battle”, so to speak.  Thanks for the kudos about the dress.  I think it’s beautiful too!  I wonder what the cost is on them.

@amberdawn – After looking at the gown you posted again, I think I figured out what is “off” to me…it’s the thick straps.  If your girls definitely want straps, I’m wondering if they could be modified to be thinner, thus softer looking???

The straps actually give a more vintage look since strapless dresses were less common in the past, especially at weddings.

This is the kind of thing I think of as “vintage” for an evening gown.

    What about this one?
