If they had a preference, how would they like you to address them?

@brideatbeach: That makes it really tough. I think it’s probably easier to address it to their nicknames and get your Darling Husband to sign the letter with you.

I’ve been calling his grandmother “Grammy” since before we got engaged.  I’d write it out however I address them in person.

I fear I am in the same boat as you.  My Fiance was not raised writing Thank You’s so if I want them done in a timely manner, I’m going to have to do them myself.

How about something like “Dear Grammy Mary” or “Boppa Fred?”

Option number 1: Write them yourself and just write their given name, make sure to write LOVE Brideal Beach at the end.

Option number 2: Grab your thank you card stuff sit down with Darling Husband and MAKE HIM WRITE THEM! It won’t take long, maybe a minute for each thank you card. You address the envelope, but just make him write the actual thank you card. Afterall, it’s his family with his nicknames, and he should help with writing them, because YOU BOTH got married and you are BOTH THANKFUL!
