Crazy props on the dance floor?
Yes I understand that those kind of things go with a photobooth, however one of those just isn’t in the budget. I was thinking about the group of people we’ll have at the reception and I actually think it would go over pretty big…I know some people may seem like it is for lack of a better word childish…but I do think they would get a kick out it, especially since we are getting married on St Patty’s day with a New Orleans style flair. What are ya’lls thoughts?

I wanted a photobooth at our wedding as well, but couldn’t afford one. Having my heart really set on it, I found this and this. So we will in fact make our own! I’m really excited about it!

I went to a wedding years ago where the DJ brought out props for people on the dance floor. They had hats, funny over sized glasses, inflatable musical instruments (guitars/sax/microphone) Everyone had a blast.

@mrsaponte: I did a DIY photobooth at my wedding. It was fairly cheap and a lot of fun. A few people thought we used a vendor. The company we work for borrowed the idea for their company Christmas party after our wedding. You’ll have a blast.

i think it’s totally fine! Once everyone is drinking and partying and dancing it will be so fun to have props for photos! Do it!

Thanks ya’ll! I was reading some other way older posts about it, and the consensus I got was that people thought it would be like being at a kids party…I just genuinely think once the party gets going that it will def add to the fun vibe! And I love that idea for the DIY photobooth…hmm wheels are spinning!
