I’m a cross over kind of gal.

I’m right-handed and when I do my right eye, the back of my right hand faces me.  When I do my left eye, the front of my right hand faces me.

I used to only use my left hand (lefties unite!) but actually ended up messing my right eye up more when I did that. So now I use whichever hand matches the eye I do it. Fiance makes fun of me though because I always end up doing my mascara pressed up against the full-length mirror, mouth open. So unattractive haha. I generally save mascara application for when he isn’t home or is in the other room (otherwise he stands there making fish-mouth faces and makes me laugh, which makes me mess up. Sigh. Boys.)

I’m a lefty and I use both hands, too. I wonder if that’s normal for us!

I use my right hand for both eyes. Now I want to try using my left hand on my left eye tomorrow… I predict disaster.

I think you need to add in your poll:

Apply with ridiculously gaping open mouth and arched eyebrows al la Beauty Heaven:

This is not me. I look worse when I apply mine…

I cannot for the life of me remember if I use one hand or both.  I’m pretending to apply mascara and both ways seem natural to me.  Undecided I’ll have to put on mascara tonight and report back.

I couldn’t remember so went to my makeup stand (mirror on coffee table, lol) and did it with the mascara cap on (since I already did my makeup). Two hands it is!

I use both hands… but I do a lot of things with both hands.  Also of note, when applying my mascara I don’t open my mouth.  I didn’t know this was odd until someone at the gym made a comment about how they didn’t think it was humanly possible 🙂  I do, however, look surprised because I arch my eyebrows wayyy up.  I have no idea why.

I use both hands, mouth wide open, eyebrows up high hahahahaa. I can close my mouth if I’m thinking about it, but it’s more comfortable wide open hahahah

I use left hand for left eye, right hand for right eye. I’m left handed but I can’t use my left hand for my right eye because I would always hit my nose with the wand. I’ve gotten pretty good at applying it with my right hand, though.

@Eight6Eleven:  Bahaha, yep that’s me to a tee. ‘Cept since I can’t see without my glasses I’m pressed up to the mirror with my nose almost touching.
