Hey Bees, So we can all appreciate the stresses of day to day life…. work, parents, family, soon to be family, etc….
My load seems to just keep getting bigger and bigger and heavier and heavier… how do YOU all find relief?? What works to de-stress some of you?!?!

I like to take a bubble bath. It’s nice and relaxing and I get away from everything, except for the cats who like to pester me.

My stress reliever comes in the form of an herbal remedy that should be legal but isn’t.

I could use some stress-relieving ideas too! All my stress goes into my back and I just have huge knots there right now 🙁

I let it all pile up until I have a huge breakdown… Not recomended… I really try to take some time out of every day to have some me time. And I girls night out every now and then helps too! I really need to work on doing that again…

Warm tea, hot bath, candles, icy hot on tense muscles (I LOVE that stuff), heated mattress pad on a bed full of big fluffy blankets.
I’m also a big prayer/relaxation/mediation gal. I had to internalize the verse “Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?” I’m super type A, so I had to learn that I just needed to relax and let things go, because worrying doesn’t solve any of my problems, just adds to them, and that’s counter-productive.

‘s route and have a good cry/freakout/call Mr.ND/my mom. Then I buck up and make a list and get cracking.

I bake. Baking to me is so therpatuic, anything is wrong or I have a bad headache, baking solves it!
My other stress reliver is puttig on a mint face mask, painting my nails and watching movies!

This may end up duplicating, but:
Wine. Even nursing a half glass of wine over the course of a night makes a chore-filled evening more elegant and slower-paced. It’s not even about the alcohol, since I rarely drink enough to feel a difference. To me, sipping wine means I am on vacation!

When I’m really stressed…I cry! I lock myself alone in my room and just cry. It really makes me feel like I’m letting everything out and I always feel a sense of calm and relief after. Am I crazy? lol
