@MeganTacky2247: I try to have a moment off for just “me”.. doing what ever I feel like in that moment. A glass of wine perhaps, just relaxing on the couch, a stroll in the woods/beach. A nice bath with a “mini” spa. Read a book, or just “be”.. don’t know if that make sense to you. I rarely get a full day with myself, so every moment helps.
That way, you kinda just put all focus on yourself, and relax.Soemtimes I find it nice just to take the train, listen to music, all by myself. It sounds weird, but it’s so relaxing. Specially if the views are great.
You should try it sometimes. It’s nice and in the long run, you can really tell the difference from these “mini me” moments! <3

Hot yoga. 3-4 times a week. And petting my furbabies 🙂

working out helps so much. Especially my boxing class. After a hard day at work I also come home and drink a beer or glass of wine and contact a friend via phone/e-mail/facebook just to connect to some good times.

Getting out and doing something not wedding related… l like going to a garden, or a museum with Fiance. It helps to get my mind off of things.
I wish I could say wine, but I prefer beer… I know not very lady like.
Massages… I just wish the after effects lasted a little longer than they do.

Thank you all VERY much!!! I deffinately need to work on the “ME” time. its just poopoo. lol. and get this we just moved into a new apartment while the house hunt continues… and…. NO…. NO BATHTUB!!! only a shower!! I have always been a bubble bath and candles kinda gal, and no bath.. what was I thinking?>! haha. And yes, it seems as if this site is a HUGE reliever. I think its bc we feel alone and then when we come here, we realize that MOST everyone is dealing with the same stuff. haha.

@MeganTacky2247: I got stressed just reading the post! haha. I don’t do as much as I should but I take one day off a week (usually Saturday) and just do whatever I want. No school, no family. My Fiance take time to do little stuff together like cook, grocery shop, gym, etc. and that relaxes me because I feel like I have help. If I have a lot on my mind, I’ll make a list and put it away until I’m ready to tackle it.

Can I say, between the wedding planning, prenup arrangements, my job, and night French classes…I’m on the verge of a breakdown! Actually I think I had about one or two last week. So friday I come home to the sound of the washer/dryer/dishwasher on, and my Fiance greets me at the door with a glass of wine. We slept in until noon on Saturday, and then I got a pedicure and went to the local farmers market to make a nice dinner for us so ended up cooking the rest of the day. Did somewhat of a repeat of that today, but it was a very necessary weekend! I also find if I’m able to go to the gym on a regular basis that helps A LOT with my overall mood, but I’m having a hard time sqeezing in the time to go…
