I never take it off in public, ever. I’ve done all the things you listed perfectly fine with my rings still on.

The only time I take them off in public is if I’m at the jewellery store and they’re being cleaned.

I don’t ever take my rings off when out and about. The only time they come off is at home when my ring dish is nearby.

I never take off in public EVER, my friend went to get a manicure once and took off her ering because they needed her to and she left it in the dish and never got it back and that was a year ago. It was a very sentimental ring to her so losing it was devastating. I rarely take my rings off in general let alone in a public place.

If I had to take them off I would put them around a chain on my neck.

I wouldn’t take it off for those things. I once took my morganite (that I no longer wear) off to wash my hands and proceeded to leave it on the bathroom counter of my office gym. Thankfully, the lady who ran the gym found it and emailed me.

Previous to the morganite ring, the only time I took them off in public was when I was going straight from work to the gym. I’d either leave them in the car or put them in a pocket of my gym bag that stayed with me the whole time.

I always take my engagment ring off whenever I wash my hands. So even though this may sound totally ridiculous, I carry a small ring box in my purse (luckily most of my bags are plenty big) and discreetly put it in there before I wash my hands etc. I NEVER put it away though say over the toilet in the stall or over the sink… Actually when I know I’m going into a restaurant or anywhere to eat I usually just put it away in the box while I’m in the car still.

I wouldn’t. I wash my hands with them on, and got my nails done wearing them (They only soak your fingertips…)

If for some random reason I needed to take them off (going to workout and did not plan accordingly by bringing my silicone bands that day instead), I would slip them on my necklace for the short amount of time, or tuck them in to a safe compartment in my car.

I never take mine off in public.  My sister in law took hers off at the car dealership to put lotion on and thought she put it in her purse and missed.  About a week later they called to tell her they finally found it under one of the showroom cars.

minimalistbeex :  I pretty much only take them off to apply lotion at home (they go on a shelf), or doing messy things in the kitchen (they go in a dish on top of the microwave). I’ve taken them off when having a full manicure and put them in my purse, but for a polish they stay on. Never needed to take them off to wash my hands; if they’re so loose you need to they need to be resized. I also swim and gym in them.

I only take mine off to put lotion on, and I put the ring between my lips. If I put it down there’s a good chance I would forget to pick it back up, so I just don’t put it down.

Otherwise, I never take it off.

Never to wash my hands.  They are rocks and metal, water and soap isnt going to damage it.  For lotion only cause it’s hard to clean out, I either lotion around the rings, have my husband hold them, or hold them between my lips and put them right back on.  Unless I’m at my desk at work, then I’ll put them on my desk, and right back on.  Getting nails done, I leave it on, they’r working on my nails, not my hands.

I seldom take off my rings in public and I keep mine on when washing hands. When I get a manicure, I temporarily hang my rings on a necklace.  And I don’t wear them to the gym.
