I ordered mine through Etsy. Seller name was mapletree2000. Really great seller She makes cute dresses and can make them in a variety of colorus to match your wedding. I was really happy with ours.

Here is a pic where you can see our flowergirl.

I think an 8 year old could wear a dress like that. Not sure if that particular seller makse them up to that size. But I definitely think it would be more appropriate than an 8 year old in a tutu style dress.

I was going to leave it up to the flower girl’s mom, or go shopping w/ her and the fg and let the fg choose something that made her happy…but then I saw a dress on either Ideeli or Ruelala that matched the wedding party perfectly (and even had a hydrangea on it, our wedding flower) and was obviously less money than it usually is since it was on one of those discount designer sites. We ordered it and it fit her and everybody was happy so it ended up not even being a big to-do. It was from this company and looks kinda like this, they no longer sell our exact one though: http://www.usangels.com/collection_detail_576.html

My fg is 7, btw. I think any older than 3 shouldn’t wear a tutu, as adorable as it is on a toddler or infant.

Our “flowergirl” is 7 months old and my colors are red, black, and silver, so I just picked up a cute little dress at Target on Black Friday.  My bridesmaid dresses also came from Target.  I don’t remember them having specific “flowergirl” selection, but they have a ton of cute girls’ dresses on thier website.
