Alright, I can’t think of a more “TMI” topic, but let’s all put our big-girl panties on for a second. 😉
If you and your DH/FI are not using condoms (such as TTC or simply don’t use them) and there isn’t any “coitus interruptus” – do you do anything to clean yourself up after he ejaculates in you?
Maybe douching or something else? Or do you just roll over and go to sleep. I feel like it would be messy after a while and you would want to do something about that.

I bend over and sneeze. 😉
JUST KIDDING. I don’t douche because that’s horrible for your body. We just use tissues. I also make a point of urinating after sex because it helps clear any bacteria from your urinary tract.
The vagina is a self-cleaning organ–meaning you don’t need to douche or use soaps. Vaginal flowback = sperm/semen/everything else comes out after a while, so while some buildup occurs, it’s usually not excessive.

I have always tried to pee afterwards…kind of like a natural clease and a quick wipe/wash-up.

lol….what do you mean “messy after a while”. I’m not sure I fully understand BUT I don’t think that his “fluids” are going to build up in you. Many women simply wipe the in and around the area with a wash cloth or baby wipe and call it a day. If it bothers you, you could always hop in the shower.

Douching is not good for you. Your vagina is self-cleaning, so it does not need to be cleaned inside.
I just wipe outside with Kleenex and go pee (to prevent UTIs). It seems like most of his ejaculate comes back out anyway (gross I know lol).

@Mrs Grape: THAT’S THE BEST RESPONSE EVER!
Yeah, I know douches really mess with your natural chemistry. I don’t use them, but I wonder if others do.
Ok, so, tissues. But, do you basically try to get as much as you can and shrug off the rest, or do you try to get up there a little? I guess what I’m asking is – if you had, say, a quickie, I don’t know if you could just stand up and put your clothes back on because wouldn’t there be drippage?

@Mrs Grape: Your comment made me lol!
@coconutmellie: We either take a shower or use tissues, but I don’t douche because it’s not good for your body!

Usually just go and pee. Helps prevent UTIs as well.

I get up and go pee and use a washcloth or babywipe (if they are around) just to wipe down.

@coconutmellie: We try to “catch” as much as possible with them when he pulls out so it doesn’t stain the sheets. I never try to put anything up there–it comes out naturally. Just put some tissues in your undies or something for a while to avoid a mess.

I pee after, and this is def Too Much Information, but when I do, most of the cum drips out, and I just wipe. I hate the feeling of it dripping out after and getting my panties wet, and I found that peeing after works best. Douching isn’t good for your body, and I can’t imagine doing that everyday after we have sex!

@coconutmellie: Usually as soon as you go vertical it all comes out lol, so you can just wipe it away and put on your panties and be fine lol. You do not need to try and wipe up inside yourself or something.

@Boston Bee: If most of it drips back out when you pee, than that makes most sense.
@KatNYC2011: That’s right, I read that it’s useful for UTIs.
I know it’s a strange topic, but I’ve never heard anyone talk about the “aftermath!”

We use tissues and then I go pee and just let it drip for a few minutes LOL

ok I’ll bite. . . I pee and if I’m at home I just hop in the shower and wash my “lower half”. If it is a quickie or we are not at home (road trip, back seat of the car, you get the picture) I run into the bathroom, wipe up with a moist towelette (like the ones Always sells) and put on a pantyliner to catch all the “drippage” Cause there is nothing more uncomfortable to me than the feeling of wet panties, yuck.
