I take anti-histamines for severe nausea and vomiting, which also help with allergies, and they are safe to take during pregnancy, in case you do need meds.

I’m curious because I suffer from year round allergies as well–can you take Zyrtec while pregnant?  I take it now, and don’t even want to think about the kind of mess I’ll be in if I have to stop due to pregnancy.

I have chronic sinusitis and basically anything- perfume, air freshener, BLEACH!  Gives me a sinus infection.  I have been really managing it by using a netti pot every day with salt water.  (I also use a humidifier and try to eat healthy and rest.)  I got a killer sinus headache for almost a week after I ate at this local Chinese restaurant that used an air freshener and it was hard to get through- I just did the salt water and ran my shower 24/7!
