@bouncybee: I had the implant a couple years ago and it took 9 weeks for my period to come back. But, when it finally did, my cycles were normal right away. Hopefully yours comes back sooner than that!
DH and I are having to take a break from TTC because I am going back to school. We have decided to do plan some special outings with our son to make sure we spend some quality time with him before we have #2. Nothing too big, just stuff like camping and maybe a day trip to a wilderness park we have here. Also, we just got a puppy and that takes up A LOT of time and energy! GL hun!!

I focus on spending more time getting myself ready emotionally (and financially). Can you really ever be ready? I don’t know. I’m extremely eager to start TTC. I certainly feel beyond ready at times, and my husband is emotionally ready. We are just not financially ready. I’m waiting for my husband to get his goals off the ground. We aren’t far out, I’m hoping my January or spring of this year. I know that whenever I do have a baby it will be the right time for us, and since this summer was clearly not the right time (it was when we were planning to TTC), I’m happy that I still have some more time. I also know that now is the time in my life when maybe I should relish being a little selfish with my time with my husband, and I’m happy that I still get him all to myself for now. You have to try to look at the positive silver linings.
