Usually it happens to me if I’m laying or sitting, and I’ll just change positions.

For me, it means that Wombat is kicking or punching my lungs. I’ll put the heels of my hands on my sides and gently push  forward. The heels are really where love handles would be on my back. Sometimes Wombat will push back, but I just keep them there and we fight for the space. It’s just a gentle push and then I just leave my hands there. Once Wombat got bigger, I’ve done the same thing with the heels of my hands right at my rib cage. Granted, if Wombat is really far back, it doesn’t work, so I try pelvic rocks to get Wombat forward. Good luck.

I only get this when I go up the stairs or lay down. I avoid the stairs at our house unless necessary (get everything I need at ONE time!) and laying down, move around some and lay on the left.

What I try to do is take a slow and steady deep breath puching my stomach out.  I stretch up so my rib cage opens more too. This usually helps that feeling of not getting a good breath in. Hope it helps!

I’ve heard recently and wish I knew this with my daughter that if you get on all fours (no really keep reading lol) your belly will kind of hang and take the stress off of your ribs and such and you will feel some relief….hope this helps and hope you feel better 🙂

I found that drinking water and making sure I wasn’t getting overheated helped best. Usually I noticed it when I was starting to get too hot.
