Honestly, I don’t know how I deal with the worry.  I’ll agree with PPs about after seeing the baby and a strong heart beat at 8 weeks it gave me much more hope and allowed my mind to settle down a bit.  I was good for another 2 weeks and now with 1.5 weeks to go to my 12 week NT scan and OB appointment, I have the nerves again.  4 weeks is an eternity to wait in between scans!

My 2 best friends are currently in the midst of fertility issues and seeing REs. They have both had miscarraiges and I’ve seen the ups and downs they go through…I would never wish what they are going through on anyone.  It’s very real to DH and I that anything can happen, we just take it all day by day, and keep praying all will be okay.

I try to tell myself that statistics are on our side.  Majority of pregnancies turn out to be healthy babies.  Whenever my symptoms are full on I tell myself “well, something must be right in there!”.  I also try to stay in the moment and say whatever is going on, you are pregnant right now and you have the right to enjoy this moment.  Also, as much as I hate working….it keeps your mind occupied!

Oh and then I also realize, this is parenthood. It will be constant worry! lol

Sorry, you just have to accept it and try to redirect your thoughts.  Avoid things that are triggering.  I don’t watch the news.  The Fear will never go away. EVER! lol.  It doesn’t go away after pregnancy.  It’s called motherhood
