Fiance and I want an adults only reception (18+). However we both have some first cousins who are under 18 but have older siblings who are over 18 and would be invited. How should we handle this? Just suck it up and invite all first cousins? Ugh, I worry about angering people!

@MissNachoLover: I think first cousins should be invited, even if under 18, but under 8 or so would be too young I think. Maybe you could go by under 18 does not have a plus 1? First cousins are pretty important… and especially if you’re inviting their older siblings I think they should go if they’re in their teens like it sounds.

as long as your exception is for family only, it’s fine. just explain to anyone who asks that it’s over 18 plus family.

I guess Fiance and I will have to discuss. There are really only 2 families this would effect.
My youngest cousin will be 5 by the time of the wedding and that’s a bit young, for me. I don’t mind teenagers/pre-teens. Maybe we can make the age cut off 12 or something.
Weddings are hard.
